Information for businesses who pay Non-Domestic Rates (business rates)

On 4 May 2023, there are due to be town and parish council elections held in the Cumberland Council area.

This is our first Cumberland Council Plan and outlines what we want to focus on in our first four years. It also describes how we want our new Council to work and what residents can expect from us.

As part of the process to set up the new Cumberland Council, elections took place in May 2022 to elect 46 councillors in new wards across the Cumberland Council area.

The Shadow Authority has important business to look at before April 2023.
